Hi folks. I am a retired IT Analyst who returned to his photography hobby upon retirement with the goal of becoming a more serious amateur. I like to photograph flowers, wildlife and landscapes, but have been known to do macro and other “nature” things as well. I have a growing interest in IR photography as well, having converted a Canon 5D III to Super Colour IR just recently.

I am not quite sure how this all works, but I am only too happy to learn.

I was “introduced” to photography as a youngster when someone bought me a little black box with a lens and some B&W film. Nowadays, I shoot Canon digital and I am a moderately proficient user of Lightroom and a variety of plugins from Nik and onOne.
