Hi, my name is Sharon and I love photography. I purchased my first good camera in 2005 before a trip to Sweden. Before that it seemed like every picture I took was a head cut off or some other distraction to the picture and I wasn’t good at it so I wasn’t interested. Wanted to get good pictures while on vacation so I purchased a Fujifilm an started practicing on my flowers. One night I had a beautiful Angel Trumpet open full bloom, 12 inches long and 6 inches across. It’s color was so stunning and the sky was so black, I had to capture it. I put it on a table above me and took the snap toward the sky and WOW, I was hooked. I was a traveling sales person and I took a lot of pictures on the road on in my accounts. I’ve been underground in a coal mine where I took 200 pictures and inside of factories. I started with flowers and have expanded to lots of scenery and interesting people shots. My latest captures are of the moon and I hope you get to see soon. I still consider myself amateur but have had 16 pictures published in a local magazine. I am retired now and want to travel an take pictures.
