Allows Edits? NoHi, I’m Ashleigh.
I’m a South African high school student and (obviously) photography enthusiast. I love fine art photography, animal portraiture (pets, wildlife, and birds), abstract art, still life photography, and most other genres!
I don’t remember the first photograph that hooked me in, but I first started taking photos at the age of about five (using a little throw-away camera). I’ve been ‘properly’ and passionately taking photos for about four years now.
My photography blog can be found at throughtheviewfinderphotoblog.wordpress.com.

Hello, Miss Ashleigh and welcome to LightStalking. I looked at your photography blog and you are, indeed, properly and passionately taking photos. You have joined quite an international community that has at least two members from South Africa. We have the critique forum, SharkTank, but we also have non-critique forums that are just plain fun to participate in. I hope you will find a forum and start posting.

Hi Ashligh, welcome to LS! Its a lot of fun around here, and don’t be shy with he Shark Tank, its worth throwing something in there, and fun to get totally unbiased opinions. You will probably find it quite helpful. Looking forward to seeing your work. Your blog has some beautiful work on it! I love the blog/project idea, its a great way to learn new things! Nice work!

Welcome from a co South African, Ashleigh! What would I have given to have had today’s technology available in my school years already! I always hated the waiting process for film development, just to find that two thirds of them were throwaway material and an absolute waste of (my parents’) money!
Looking forward to see your shots!

Hey how ya doing? Finding everything OK? I am having a bit of difficulty myself, but haven’t given up yet. Hope you are finding this easier than I am. I can’t understand why you are on the thread of unanswered post as I see at least 6 post answering you. Must be a glitch in the system
@admin,,, is this a glitch?
