Afghan Girl was the photo that left a significant impression on me as a teenager, and I see it did on others as well. I took a photography course in high school and with that training I was able to handle most of the photo needs for our school yearbook. The week following graduation was 98% photo development and 2% layout. I have not used a darkroom since but I have had a camera mid to professional range since.
Currently I am a Special Education teacher, yearbook adviser and school photographer for our school. In the past 2 years I have begun taking senior photos for our students, and I always am looking for a great shot when I run errands. This also has been a great source of sanity, backgrounds for my poetry, and inspiration for painting that I occasionally have time to do.
Hi from the Montana high line!
