the first photograph might have been ‘woman in a corset’ by Horst P Horst. I certainly love it and look it up just to see it on a regular basis. I feel like i’ve been surrounded by amazing images my whole life. It’s portraits that really do it for me though, even dog portraits! i’m currently re-learning the technicalities of photography after years spent winging it by feel on analogue. i’m finding a whole load of blocks to stumble over in this new-fangled digital age, but i’m excited by the huge amount of creativity going on to bring images of everyone to everyone. just remember to take a look away from a screen once in a while or you could get lost looking at the world.
