Hi, I initially got interested in photography as a kid. and grew up learning on an AE-1. For a long time I was much more focused on technical details, and having the best equipment (something I couldn’t/can’t) afford. eventually I realized it’s more important to take a ‘good’ photo than a technically perfect one (but that’s still important).

Now I am shooting mostly film, and still use the AE-1 I started on. I mostly shoot Black and white, and develop and print myself. I am trying to self teach myself more formal artistic composition,and I am try to make “stronger” images. As an Electrical Engineer, the technical concepts come easy, so often I feel my images lack on the ‘form’ side of things.
