Dad got me a camera when I was about 10 and I had fun shooting family pics. When I got to High school, I was part of the Yearbook staff, eventually editor, and they gave me a twin lens reflex. Dad then got the enlarger etc to equip the darkroom built by the former owners of our house. From there it was just having fun. We had a daily high school newspaper so I had lots of opportunities to ‘sell’ my pix. After college, I couldn’t afford the equipment so I ‘retired’ until lately when I took up digital. I look at my high school pics and find that most are not that good but a few aren’t that bad. I am working hard on my technical technique right now. I’ve only been at it for a few years this time but have a few images I like. I look forward to pointers on composition and technique.
