Hello, name is Greg. I am a family and social documentary photographer from Waterloo, Ontario Canada (originally from the U.S.) The first photograph that inspired me to give photography a try was sometime in high school, back in the 80’s history class. We were studying the Vietnam war and I saw Nick Ut’s Pulitzer Prize-winning photo for Spot News Photography for “The Terror of War”, depicting children in flight from a napalm bombing. The photograph shocked my senses and I oddly felt that I could visually understand the story printed to me like nothing I could ever read in words. At that moment, I knew I wanted to try my hand at photography.
