I used to shoot film back in the eighties and set my camera aside when job, house and kids came along. What pulled me back into photography in the digital age was my cell phone. I was capturing such nicely exposed shoots with just my phone, that I became curious as to what I could do creatively with a good digital camera. I purchased a Fujifilms X-E1 earlier this year and have worked hard on steadily improving my photographic skills with the intent of producing gallery quality landscape prints. I have enjoyed every minute that I have spent in this endeavor.
The photograph that inspired me the most on my return to photography was a moonlight capture of a local waterfall. The print was full of deep hues of blue and purple and the water looked like silver threads. I took one look and decided I wanted learn how to create beautiful low light images too.
