Light Stalking

I plan the odd one or two but more often it’s a case of seeing something that catches my eye and then I take the shot..

I think if I did more landscape work then I would plan where, when and especially to take into account of weather etc..

The ‘Runner up’ image well……………………….I struggle a little with it but it certainly made me smile when I saw the title followed by the photo!! :-)

How wonderful to be able to view and capture a shot of a Hummingbird in the city – nice one!!

I love the lighting and that you’ve still retained the texture of the petals..good one!! :)

So the beautiful blue speckled wall, the red pillar, the insignificant chair and the lovely old floor tiles all fade into the background so that the tiny Gecko takes the place of honour for this shot and title – works for me Tom !! :)

ooooh dear I do hope the little sparrow stays hidden, when a hawk is around most birds seem to know to stay away -what a great shot of it Karen.

I agree the dof and the softness of the light really adds such a lot to this photo, good one!!

What a lovely relaxing scene the humans didn’t know you were taking the photo but the doggie is watching you!! :0

First shot was an easy one the guy couldn’t see you looking down on him, the second shot is good except I wish the young lad had worn a different colour tee shirt and the third one is ‘scary’ and you’re just showing off with which camera you have!! – now back to the dungeon asap! :)

Two very different shots Richard but they both work well and yes I agree with you street photography away from home is so much easier!!

I think it’s so much easier to take street shots when you’re away from your own town/city/village, photo’s like these give us the viewer a real feeling for the place…
