I’m planning to. But I do have some quibbles with it. (1) awkwardness involved with resizing images if necessary for the layout. (2) Lightroom 4 is supposed to seamlessly integrate Blurb, but it’s decidedly not ready for prime time. Not sure if that’s Lightroom or Blurb’s fault. (3) Final printing costs are very high, so [...]

I’d say it took about two-three weeks with a day off here and there to design the book (select images, sequence them, write the text) and then do the layout with Blurb’s software. Doesn’t include initial processing of the images, but all the images needed to be resharpened and prepped for printing to Blurb’s specs. [...]

Here’s an image I snapped the other day roadside while driving from San Jose to Los Angeles. This is in Los Banos California – I really like the hills in this area near the Pacheco Pass.

Hi all. I’ve been working in landscapes for quite a while but have just recently tried my hand at some panoramic images. Here is a recent one.
This image is of the Ghost Ranch, the land that inspired Georgia O’Keeffe for many years, in Abiquiu New Mexico. I’ve just posted this at my blogsite, http://randomsights.com, where you’ll find lots more landscapes. Eager to get some reactions.
