Nice shot. And nice to find someone from Idaho. I am from Heyburn, but am now living in México. Keep up the good work.

That is who the Raramuri (called Tarahumaras by some) are.
They can actually take relays and run a deer down!

Museo Rayenari is so humble, the curators live amongst the collection. You must go past their bedroom to enter the room where the artifacts are kept.

While riding on the country side in Chihuahua, MX. My husband and I run into this museum in a very small town with unpaved streets (Five of six streets total!)
The museum was started by a local woman, Elizabeth Davila García, who likes to "roam" around the country side and started gathering mammuth teeth and old objects.
It is in the Ejido Favela, Anahuac; Chih; México.

These are two Raramuri Indians (known as Tarahumara Indians, but they call themselves Raramuri). They live in Chihuahua State in Mexico, mostly on the area known as Coper Canyon. This picture was taken in the small town of Creel where many of them come to sell their wares to tourists. Not many, but some Raramri [...]

One of the many murals inside the centuries old "Palacio de Gobierno" in Durango, MX. Which in fact was built as a palace for a Spanish Count of Sambrano, a wealthy silver and gold miner.

Running to my car to keep dry I saw these two young Raramuri Indians taking refuge from the rain under a canopy and sitting on a window sill. Their rugged feet caught my eye as well as the hand made tire sandals. Creel, Chih; Mexico. (My attempt to stay dry failed, but I got the picture).
