Macro photography is always an immensely popular subject here on Light Stalking. We've covered it in several collections and macro tutorials (The Secret of Successful Macro Photography and Macro: Seven Tips for Photographing Insects), but the demand remains. So here are a few great macro photographs of beetles to help inspire and motivate. Enjoy.

Woow its cool website
amazing….!!! so beautiful color n smart shoot.
Nice. But I expected pictures of the Beatles. The bug is spelled ‘beetle’!
Incredible!
Absolutely amazing shots! Nice work!
Very nice, but the title of the post is misleading; photos 1,5, and 7 aren’t beetles, they are bugs (order hemiptera not Coleoptera).
Actually the true bugs are photos numbers 1,3,5,9…the rest are beetles, I think…some angles make ID challenging.
Hey there, great macrophotography, loved the gallery!
You DO know the creatures are BEETLES don’t you? (Beatles was the name of a semi-successful English band from the 60s)
Keep up the good work,
cheers
