We associate beaches with sun, fun and colour. And while we have shown some great colour photos of the beach on this site before as well as some tips, black and white has been less prevalent for us. But these images show what can be done with a subject that we don't always associate with the emotions of black and white photography. With some polarisers, gradient filters and more than a small bit of skill, you can get some incredible black and white images at the beach. Enjoy these!
