  I had been taking photographs for a number of years and these were processed through commercial labs. Until I saw a picture of Mother Theresa which had won the International Press award for that year…..there were 20 steps carried out in the dark room before the photographer was satisfied …..this convinced me that I needed to have my own darkroom.

  thanks for the welcome, my use of film is now only digitising/scanning negs and then post production in Photoshop. My camera now is a canon eos7d
