From the Air – Light Stalking

  One interesting way to photograph landscapes is “From the air” and it is becoming a fairly common option these days. You see landscapes, cityscapes and even the skyline differently from the air. The moment you go high up a few meters, you’re looking at the ground very differently from what you’ve been seeing.
  
  You do not need expensive gear as this can be accomplished with the help of a smartphone with its built in lens that has an acceptable wide field of view.
  
  Another option for aerial photography is to use the drone, which is becoming very popular these days.
  
  Other options include shooting images during a sightseeing flight, helicopter or an airplane hired by enthusiast photographers to photograph the landscapes or cityscapes from above.
  
  It doesn’t matter which option is used, the image has to be shot from the air. Please share images with a short note (if possible) of how you shot them, so that others can learn from it. Could be a mobile or drone or a DSLR.

        I can imagine Kent, the double glasses and sometimes the specks and scratches on the glass and the atmosphere through which it is shot, all contribute to loss of details, don’t they?
