  Hello all,
  
  I consider myself a beginner again and I am hoping to learn lots on this site. My fascination with history and buildings leads me to take lots of pics under this theme. I do however love taking photos of animals and plants. I have a special interest in macro also. In the 80s I had a very old Pentax K1000 and did everything manually, including developing and printing. I now have a Canon 200D and I am learning all over again. I believe the skill lies in the camera not the computer. 🙂 So excited!

    I don’t use film anymore, not only is it hard to get but I love the ability to take a hundred photos in the hope of getting that one great shot…without breaking my purse. My next purchase is going to be a macro lens. I see you’re in Brisbane too, can you recommend a good place to purchase camera equipment?

    Lovely image Dawn. I love photographing snails and it is during the rainy season when they are out among the fresh leaves 🙂
