    As promised on my previous moon shot posted, another attempt using my Nikon D7100 (crop sensor) on the Tamron 150-600 G2. Also f/11 @ 600mm. Of course the conditions are not exactly the same as the moon is not totally ‘full' anymore – in fact, I actually prefer it not full as the craters are then much more accentuated. I think what I did determine is that a crop sensor can take these shots at least as well as full frame.

    Lovely image Tobie. Agree the gibbous moon is dramatic as the shadow helps to capture the craters in detail. Thank you for sharing with us 🙂
