    It has taken me a while to learn to appreciate this kind of images – they are really dependent on the eye – love this one – maybe it is the red arrow that makes it

    I really like these type of images because they make me look deeper into the pure aesthetic value rather than looking for a story. More artistic if you like. I like the textures, the colours, the shapes and the geometry.
    Having said that, there are a lot of intriguing questions raised in this pic. What is the arrow pointing to? What does the number 53 signify? What was in that little bottle? What is that square structure?
    Lots to see and do. Good one Ann.

    A tardy thanks for ELin, Joanna, Graham. While I do love the aesthetics of shapes and textures, I have the same questions you raised, Graham! I may have a chance to return to this site and explore…
    
    Speaking of the aesthetics of abstraction, the son of a friend of mine is a 1st year university student and is taking a course called Digital Aesthetics. I’ve asked him to send me the syllabus so I can figure out what that is!! It must be more than the technical elegance of code….
