Here is an image from Maui. We were driving up a backroad going up Haleakala and gave two guys a lift that were parasailing. They had all their heavy gear and were just walking up the grade. So we gave them a ride to the top.  Mike

This is intriguing. One lone breaker in an otherwise flat surface of water. Is that the beginning of a wave or the end or…..?

Fun story on this one! My daughter and I were hiking, and stopped to take a picture of her with the mountains in the background. This other hiker stopped and watched us for a minute, then asked if we wanted to use his dogs in the picture! And here it is:

        Thanks Leanne!

Both were taken at the trailhead for Mt. Beirstadt, at Guanella Pass, Colorado. We are about 3/4 of a mile up the trail. In the picture of my daughter, the mountain with snow on the right of the picture is Beirstadt, and the Sub-alpine lake is just off shot to the left. It's a pretty cool place, and the pass is at 11,300′. Beirstadt's peak is at 14,040′.

The third pic is one to add to your canon of sneaker/shoe shots. I'm still unsure what it is I like about them but I do. Perhaps its because they make us feel like we're in your shoes?
