Clouds or ocean, actually it doesn't matter,   There is a lot of peace in this long exposure capture Charmaine and that makes me feel good.  Beautiful.

This is the first time on this forum.

I love your photograph. Would love to know what settings you had on your camera., if you are okay with that?

I'm inspired today to go and give this a try – just purchased a Canon M50 .

A person on Instagram has beautiful images likes these that you might be interested to look at https://www.instagram.com/p/BvZ6LD3h3sc/ .

    Wet Outlook.

I took this from behind a water feature which cascades off a foot bridge which crosses the River Torrens in Adelaide. It was a very wet day and this view just added another layer to it. Gotta go back with the ND filters for a longer exposure one day.

This was a couple of weeks ago during the first ever TCR race in Australia and there was a marshall's box on the other side of the track, so I decided to muck around with my settings and managed to capture the car right behind the fence.

  • #410145

This one, I had an assignment for my photography course at uni and the weekly task was Water and Light. I have a disco ball in my backyard that changes colours and all the colours move around so I poured some water onto it and played around with settings. I really like this one because of how the colours move around creating that motion as the colours move underneath the water droplets, especially the red.

I  keep coming back to this image over and over again Bruce… Storytelling with imagery can be difficult, but telling a complete story that leaves the viewer wanting more and imagining their own universe outside the frame requires mastery of many skills. To me, the composition evokes thoughts of multi armed deities, the elegant mantis, and the concept of birth. There's beauty and power in this structure as well as the movement, lighting, and colors.

Undoubtedly thoroughly planned, the expertise shown by both yourself and the other artist is top notch, both in conception and execution. Thank you for sharing!

I love the angle… the camera point of view, and the fluidity of the water. It's graceful, but still allows you to imagine the roar of the engines.
