One of the highlights here in the news section of the website this week was Canon’s release of its fisheye VR lens.
While we were initially expecting an extremely expensive, niche unit, what we got instead was something a little bit more mass market.
We’re talking $USD 1,999, but don’t get too excited – you might have to wait a little while before you can get your RF 5.2mm f/2.8L Dual Lens Fisheye.
That’s because it just joined a growing list of Canon products experiencing delays because of the global production shortages and shipping constraints.
Basically, if you’re a manufacturer, 2021 is somewhat of a nightmare as far as logistics are concerned.
Canon Rumors reports that the list of products now facing delays includes the following:

It’s important to get this information out there as we approach the end-of-the-year shopping frenzy that typically occurs in much of the world. Canon products are always a favorite, but, depending on what you’re looking for, 2021 might not be the year for you.
