Welcome to the weekly Light Stalking community update!
A few weeks ago, we started building consciousnesses in our community about how our species imposes trouble on our global homeland. Keeping with this endeavor, this week's assignment made us aware of how much waterways are in distress. One week is not enough to build the needed echo for us to stop torturing the essence and foundation of life. Therefore, we'll leave the thread open for future submissions on this top-priority matter.
Depressingly enough, finding waterways in distress is not hard to do… In particular, this applies more for countries like mine in which water is treated as free garbage conveyors leading all sorts of crap into the shores of Selfishness Land. However, despite our anger and frustration, we need to keep ourselves calmed. But most importantly, keep your head clear about the message trying to be sent.
About spreading the word, remember we are dealing with visual language and composition is the harmonic frame dealing with the grammar of our communicative intention.
Photo of the Week
This shot was an instant hook! Since childhood, I've been curious about deep space beyond our eyesight. However, I'd never consider doing astrophotography since my longest optical tool reaches 50mm. But damn, this photo blew my mind and got me thinking “who stated sky images have to be done with a tele-zooming approach in the first place?”. And here I am, thrilled for November to arrive and get to a local observatory on the beach.
Yes, the wide-angle perspective was the main reason I picked this as the photograph of the week. But I got to tell you, that antenna is everything for me on the frame — the key element delivering the comedic battle between stars’ grandiloquence and human inventions’ decadence…
Congrats mate, thanks for sharing such a high-quality photograph with us!

Rob came with a fun trivia for us, how would you tier the following three:
Shoot | Choose the lens you would actively use and keep in your camera bag for regular shooting.
Shelf | Choose the lens you would keep as a backup or for occasional use, but not your go-to choice.
Sell | Choose the lens you would part with, selling it to make room for something better.
Arrange them as you like, and share your mix with us!
