From the spinoff of the camera division to securing an exclusivity agreement with the Associated Press to provide camera equipment, Sony is running on all cylinders so to speak.

The spinoff was rumored for some time so when that finally happened no one was really shocked by it. In fact, it seemed to cap off a string of successes for the company financially and in terms of its business.

All of that was until the COVID-19 pandemic hit and brought much of the photography world to a standstill along with the rest of consumer spending. Even so, we’ve seen companies like Nikon and now Sony plunge forward with important new releases. That’s great because you know how much we all love new cameras and gear.

And now we’ve got some alleged specs for their upcoming Alpha a7S III to talk about.

Here’s what Photo Rumors published:

The camera is rumored for a July 28th release date or late this summer if that date doesn’t happen.
