Photography News: Windows Users Finally Get a FREE Taste of Affinity Photos

Affinity for Mac Now Goes on Trial for Windows

How long have you been contemplating purchasing Affinity Photo? Whether it's weeks or months, Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer are now available for trial use on Windows-powered machines.

Since the launch of these two powerful applications in late 2016 in Windows versions, it's now been confirmed that Affinity are offering FREE trial versions of the software.

This means a very-welcomed ‘try before you buy' for potential customers. Windows Affinity users are now able to have a ten-day, no obligation space to have a proper test of the software.

Downloaded it and attempted to process some Fuji X raw files (RAF). First it was very slow and then it simply froze and or crashed Win 10. Rebooted and tried several times same result regardless whether it was the older 16Mpx RAFs or the new 24Mpx RAFs. Maybe there is something magical in settings to fix this but one afternoon of messing around with it is the limit of my tolerance. Maybe I’ll check back this time next year.;
