It’s very hard to pin point a specific time or photograph that got me hooked, but after seeing the real thing at an exhibition in Wellington a couple of years ago I new why this photo hooked me in – it was Brian Brakes “Monsoon Girl” The fact he was a New Zealander also added to the allure.

Thanks for your welcome – I have several favourite subjects that take up my time behind the lens ranging from birds, football (soccer) landscape around New Zealand. recently I have been trying some portraits, not really into studio setups just natural light or limited lighting.
