Hello, fellow shutterbugs. I’m lucky enough to serve as director of photography at Davidson College here in N.C.-USA. I grew up at my dad’s side in his basement darkroom as he made wet prints for “The News Leader” in Chapel Hill, N.C. Though smelly and unpleasant, that was an easier procedure to learn than Photoshop!

Hi Bill, welcome here at LS! You were fortunate to have started in such a privileged environment! Just learn what you really have to in Photoshop and use Lightroom as your main editor – it’s much easier and interfaces seamlessly with PS!
