Hello everyone!
I’m Chris from Luxembourg, a passionate amateur photographer.
I kickstarted my interest in photography the moment I got my first digital camera (a Canon Powershot P&S at the time).
I did shoot some film before, but I’m more from the generation of digital photography. The more I learned about photography, the more I realised how the point-and-shoot camera was limiting. Then I bought my first DSLR (a Pentax K100D) just before a trip to South Africa…and that’s really when simple interest in photography became a passion!What photograph really got me hooked on photography?
Actually, I think it were my grandfather’s photographs from the 40s, 50s, 60s.
Those old photos (even simple family pictures) just had a life of their own in my opinion.Being a dad of a 10-month-old girl, spare time for photography is currently very rare, as you can imagine.
Nevertheless, I hope I won’t forget my passion for photography.
