Allows Edits? NoOr waves… but I think panning shots will be more interesting. I’m hoping for some second curtain synch work, which this shot isn’t :o)
I did not add the glow. The sun did that all by itself

Allows Edits? Yes@michael-lloyd …you mentioned slow synch, 2nd curtain, I was playing with this a little while ago, not a brilliant shot, but I like it….

Allows Edits? NoYes! That’s awesome @tersha !
I know I sound like a Joe McNally groupie but the more that I read by him the more impressed I am. The Moment it Clicks and The Hot Shoe Diaries are extremely good books imho. The point being, he leaves all of his speed lights set on second curtain synch all of the time. It only comes into play at slow shutter speeds. Above 1/30s or so the flash behaves the same way as if it were set to first curtain synch so why not…
High speed synch is another speed light feature that I’ve never used but will. It allows you to shoot a fast lens wide open with fill flash in bright sunlight. So you get the soft background, a well lit subject, and if you you happen to have the sun in the frame it’s not over exposed (camera in Av mode). Pretty cool stuff.

First attempt at panning a couple of weeks ago. Hell of a job, but liked it in a curious way…
