20 years ago Hollywood introduced people to the term arachnophobia with the title of their summer hit. Arachnophobia is the phobia, or fear, of spiders. Thousands of people who were afraid of them now had the actual name to associate with what it is they fear and they surely didn’t need a movie to reaffirm this. For some, the mere sight of spiders is enough to make your skin crawl.
