Kenko is a Japanese company that manufactures accessories for photography equipment and they are mostly known for their teleconverters, extension tubes and filters. The company has been producing teleconverters since the 1960s and produces lenses under the Kenko and Tokina brand names.
The company also manufactures a beginner’s 35mm SLR camera, Kenko KF-2N, that uses the Nikon F mount. Kenko Tokina Co. Ltd. also produce a full range of photographic and optical equipment and accessories like binoculars, microscopes, lenses and filters.
Kenko is part of the Kenko Tokina Co., Ltd. since 2011 and also a parent company for many other camera accessories companies. Kenko has been manufacturing optics since 1957.
