Patterns Can Explode Your Landscape Composition Results – These 17 Examples Show You How

No doubt about it, landscape composition in photography can be difficult. Often you need to travel many miles to get the exact composition you want and often, by that time, you have lost the light you came for.

One thing to look for though is patterns. This one isn't easy, but as you can see from some of these amazing examples, if you can find patterns in landscape then the resulting images can be quite spectacular.

While this element of landscape composition is towards the more difficult end of the spectrum, it is worth looking at it and other advanced techniques. For that, I highly recommend you look at the teachings of Adam Williams. He regularly wins landscape photography competitions and his spectacular compositions are a huge part of that.
