This amazing collection of street art photographs is a result of a request by Audrey. When I found out she wanted to see great street art I was more than excited, it's a passion for me. I am a long time fan of Shepard Fairey / Obey Giant, Banksy, Julian Beever, Neckface and a slew of other talented yet often underrated street artists who choose an alternative way to display their works.
Done all around the world, street art is on display, free of charge and most artists want nothing more than some appreciation. Often times there are political under tones or outright anger being the driving forces, street art is done most of the time just to be appreciated it. Sure, most of the time it's vandalism and can be very costly to remove, but most of it is truly beautiful. I hope you like the collection of photos Audrey, there are graffiti, wheat pasting, stencil art, mixed media, three dimensional and even live art in here too!

These are so wonderful! I love the world odor one, very steampunk!
Here’s my attempt… “The Running Comedian”
Not sure if it’s worthy of inclusion here, but I have a set of photos of street art from DUMBO in Brooklyn from 2008 on flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/deanpence/sets/72157622044317084/
It was part of an organized photo walk (I think put on by flickr; I can’t remember) so you may find lots of other photos from that day on flickr by others.
