Deep Blue, Morning Dew and Some Nice Tunes!

Welcome to the weekly wrap up of the Light Stalking community!

Most photographers share a well-earned reputation for being early birds. But I have to admit, waking up in the middle of the darkest hours is not an easy string to pull. However, all the photographic findings are of absolute worth. Everything comes down to light, of course, long shadows emerging from the grass along with a myriad of scenes; bright colors rousing everywhere all at once.

Despite the spectacle around you, there's something notorious we light stalkers cannot ignore, the surreal presence of morning dew.

Together, Tersha and Dahlia made a call for images showing this outrageous phenomena through the wonders of photography. Up next, a batch of the most inspiring shots capturing the misty awakening of everyday life. As you already know, it should be kept alive from here on. Consider spiderwebs covered in mist, delicate flower petals, and leaves glazed with water beads and insects as well!

On composition, macro is the king of the hill — so use what you have to expand your proximity skills. And if you look closer into the heaviest of the drops, clear reflections you'll see. Don't forget to use a tripod for stability, and mind your time 'cause the sun will be tailing you fast!

Photo of the Week

The abstract quality of this frame is beyond stunning, but the deep blue character makes it an absolute winner. Here, Frogdaily captured some dew on top of a fluffy dandelion that got stuck on a spider's web. Another fascinating trait is how little of the structure we need to get the idea of the not-so-fragile net. The color is so intense that it instantly reminded me of Kieślowski's film “Blue“.
