Igniting Spark, Imaginary Worlds and a Pollen Turtle!

Welcome to the weekly Light Stalking community wrap up!

Surprising the human mind is, pretty much anything is capable of triggering our imagination catapulting our thoughts to the unknown. Said that, this visual compendium serves as a proper way of saying good-bye to our surrealism and dreamscapes set. For this —the 740th editing of the weekly photographic challenge— Diane made the call for… Imaginary worlds!

Thankfully, she didn't leave us alone and suggested a pretty solid path by using forced perspective on scenes. For this, we can use scale for exaggerating proportions, making our scenes utterly surreal and even fantastic. Size is another compositional element that comes into play — for example, something expected as tiny but appearing large on the scene, could deliver a deviant and memorable sensation.

Alignment is something rarely mentioned when covering the ingredients of any composition, but has the potential of turning a bland scene into something more appealing for visual consumption. And speaking of appeal, context is top one when aiming for storytelling imagery and for this, Diane suggested we focus on reality defying contexts.

Warning alert: expect some singular imagery beyond this point!

A quiet spark ignites within

Under that reflective thought, Patrick makes us reflect about happiness and the omnipresent discourses encouraging the seek of it. Up to this point, what could be more imaginary than a happy world? Congrats mate, this is an exquisite image indeed.
